These teams are the engines that drive many quality improvement efforts within the organization by allowing for the diverse skills and experience of employees to handle processes and problem solving within an organization. In order for a team to be effective, there must be positive interactions and relationships amongst its members so as to ensure the smooth running of its operations. This is achieved through understanding and accepting each others character traits and using the positive traits to foster efficiency within the organization. Trying to recognize each others capabilities within the corporate environment and adjusting oneself accordingly is a daunting task. This is due to the pressure of meeting deadlines and the establishment of hierarchy within the organization, thus inhibiting employees to sit back and evaluate their fellow colleagues.
